Qualifications

• Experience performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment.
• Experience diagnosing OS, computer/server hardware, or networking protocols.
• Able to lift 50 lb and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willing to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; Google IT Support Professional Certificate desirable.
• 2 years of diagnosing OS/hardware or networking protocols preferred.
• Experience in data centre/NOC environments.
• Ability to collaborate with teams in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate new data centre infrastructure across projects or functions.
• Report issues and follow procedures to troubleshoot and diagnose straightforward issues with equipment or infrastructure.
• Maintain the security and integrity of data per Google security standards.
• Disassemble equipment at end-of-life in a team setting.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on equipment, servers, machines, or infrastructure.
