Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking an L2 Data Center Technician to perform onsite, intermediate-level technical support in Clarksville, TN.

You will lead MAC operations, run copper and fiber cabling, and perform racking and structured cabling for new deployments. Responsibilities include troubleshooting connectivity and hardware issues, including fiber diagnostics, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center or equivalent role preferred.
• Strong cabling and grounding knowledge.
• Onsite role in Clarksville, TN with ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAC operations and ensure compliance with cabling and racking standards
• Run copper and fiber cabling, including labeling and documenting connections
• Independently perform racking, stacking, and structured cabling for new deployments
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues, including fiber diagnostics
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades
