Job summary
A leading technology firm in Tennessee is seeking experienced Data Center Technicians to support large-scale data center projects. This hands-on role focuses on cable pulling and installation in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include routing and securing copper and fiber optic cables, installing cabling pathways, and maintaining safety protocols. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience and can lift 50 lbs. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and completion of OSHA certification.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in structured cabling or data center environments.
Hands-on experience with cable pulling (fiber and/or copper).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cables throughout the data center.
Install cabling pathways including ladder racks, J-hooks, cable trays, and conduits.
Follow cable routing diagrams, blueprints, and redlines.
Skills
Structured cabling
