Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and field support while following Ericsson standards.

The role requires 1+ years in data center ops, strong cabling and power knowledge, and the ability to work independently with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• High school diploma or technical certification required.
• Knowledge of data center hardware, cabling and power distribution.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, MOPs and documentation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage per designs.
• Terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and care.
• Install PDUs and verify power connectivity to equipment.
• Provision hardware and manage out-of-band connections.
• Run basic testing, validation and documentation updates.
• Perform MACD moves and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Keep installation records and as-built documentation up to date.
