Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician L2 to perform intermediate‑level deployment, hardware maintenance, diagnostics, asset management, and operational support within production and non‑production data center environments.

You will install servers, storage, accelerators, and network equipment, troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, and ensure safety and quality while supporting hyperscale and AI infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting data center operations, hardware deployment, or infrastructure support environments.
• Experience installing and maintaining server, storage, and networking hardware.
• Ability to execute detailed technical procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ticketing systems, inventory systems, and operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, cable, and deploy servers, storage systems, accelerator platforms, and networking equipment.
• Perform hardware deployment activities according to floor plans and standards.
• Carry out structured cabling installation, routing, labeling, and validation.
• Support equipment commissioning, readiness, and deployment acceptance testing.
• Verify installation quality through audits and inspections.
• Perform diagnostics and repair procedures on hardware components.
• Support RMA activities and ensure chain-of-custody for components.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform audits and reconciliation.
• Monitor operational conditions and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide smart hands support, moves, adds, changes, and decommissions as directed.
• Assist with documentation and quality assurance for deployments.
