Job summary

Milestone Technologies, Inc. seeks a Network Technician to support the physical-layer network infrastructure in hyperscale AI and accelerated computing data centers.

You will deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage structured cabling, fiber plant, optics, OOB networks, and console connectivity to ensure reliable production operations. This on-site role requires 3+ years of cabling or data center experience, sharp attention to detail, and collaboration with customer engineers and deployment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting structured cabling, network deployment, or data center infrastructure.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting fiber optic and copper cabling systems.
• Familiarity with optics, transceivers, and physical-layer networking concepts.
• Ability to read deployment documentation, rack elevations, floor plans, and network diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, terminate, label, and document structured copper and fiber cabling systems.
• Install, replace, and validate network hardware components including switches and optics.
• Support OOB management networks, console connectivity, and troubleshooting.
• Perform fiber testing, certification, and validation using approved methods.
• Maintain accurate documentation, cable records, and port maps.
• Participate in deployment readiness reviews and incident response activities.
