Job summary

Covestic Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician L2 to help deploy and operate a high-performance AI data center. You will participate in greenfield deployments, assist with cabling, system commissioning, and readiness activities, and then support day-to-day operations ensuring reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with global teams, document configurations, and participate in on-call rotations to support 24x7 operations in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware installation and structured cabling experience.
• Provisioning/re-provisioning systems via USB, PXE, imaging, or network deployment.
• Comfort with 24x7 on-call operations and incident response.
• Familiarity with ITSM/DCIM platforms and change-management processes.

Responsibilities

• Support rack and stack activities, hardware installation, cabling during build phases.
• Assist with system provisioning, validation, testing, and basic configuration.
• Support commissioning and operational readiness activities.
• Perform Layer 1 troubleshooting and assist with higher-level diagnostics as directed.
• Monitor and respond to infrastructure issues using ticketing and ITSM systems.
• Maintain asset and configuration records in DCIM/ITSM platforms.
• Adhere to SOPs, MOPs, safety, and security protocols.
• Participate in change-management windows and production changes.
• Collaborate with team members for safe, high-quality task execution.
• Support on-call rotations for 24x7 operations.
