Job summary

Covestic Inc. is seeking an Data Center Technician L2 to perform intermediate deployments, maintenance, diagnostics, and asset management in production and non-production data centers. You will execute customer-directed procedures for AI infrastructure, accelerator platforms, and server hardware.

The role requires precise procedural execution, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in mission-critical environments, supporting hyperscale and HPC environments.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting data center operations or infrastructure environments.
• Experience installing and maintaining server, storage, and networking hardware.
• Ability to execute detailed technical procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ticketing systems, inventory systems, and operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, cable, and deploy servers, storage systems, accelerator platforms, and networking equipment.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and FRU replacements on servers and networking equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for servers, networking equipment, accelerators, spare parts, and customer-owned assets.
• Provide operational support and shift turnover communications to ensure service reliability.
• Support fiber and copper infrastructure deployments and connectivity validation.
