Job summary

Taleo is seeking a Data Center Technician L2 to support AI infrastructure and accelerator platforms in our on-site data centers. You will perform hardware deployments, diagnostic work, asset management, and operational support under supervision.

The role emphasizes precise procedures, safety, and collaboration with network, facilities, and security teams. Travel up to 25% and shift turnover responsibilities are expected as part of maintaining high availability in hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years experience in data center operations or infrastructure support.
• Experience installing and maintaining server, storage, and networking hardware.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with ticketing and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, cable, and deploy servers, storage systems, accelerator platforms, and networking equipment.
• Perform structured cabling installation, routing, labeling, and validation.
• Execute hardware diagnostics and FRU replacements.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and track serialized assets.
• Provide smart hands support and assist with moves, adds, changes, and decommissioning.
• Document all work activities and ensure auditable records.
• Adhere to site security, safety, and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor entry-level technicians.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
• Support shift turnover and communicate operational concerns.
