Job summary

TensorWave is seeking a Data Center Technician in the United States, with at least 2 years of data center operations experience. You will install, configure, and test new data center infrastructure, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure high reliability and performance.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining records, while adhering to safety and quality standards. On-call support and travel as needed are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center operations experience and hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including networking, servers and storage.
• Excellent problem-solving and independently driven work style.
• Effective communication and collaboration within a national operations team.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test new data center infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to ensure high reliability and performance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, implementing solutions.
• Coordinate with local and remote teams for timely project completion.
• Maintain meticulous records of installations and repairs per standards.
• Ensure safety, quality and data center management best practices on-site.
• Provide on-site technical support during incidents or outages on an on-call rotation.
