Job summary

Wipro is seeking a hands-on Data Center/Field Services professional to support asset management and rack-level deployments in a live lab or data center environment. You will read rack elevations and deployment docs, troubleshoot hardware, and maintain accurate asset and configuration data.

The role requires strong communication, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an active lab setting. Prior experience with ServiceNow, CMDB, and ticketing systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center or lab experience.
• Experience installing, moving, cabling, or decommissioning rack-mounted gear.
• Knowledge of server hardware, storage, network devices, power distribution, and structured cabling.
• Familiar with ServiceNow, CMDB, asset-management, inventory, or ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate asset data accuracy and configuration details.
• Follow procedures and manage work independently with proper escalation when needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
