Wipro Limited is seeking a Data Center Asset Technician in Redmond, WA. The role centers on hands-on hardware work, rack equipment, and basic networking in a controlled lab or data center environment.

You will use ServiceNow/CMDB for asset data and follow procedures to keep configurations accurate and up-to-date. Applicants should have solid communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an active lab setting.

Job Description

Required Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in a data center, technical lab, server room, infrastructure-support, or field-services environment.
• Experience installing, moving, cabling, troubleshooting, or decommissioning rack-mounted equipment.
• Working knowledge of server hardware, storage equipment, network devices, power distribution, and structured cabling.
• Experience using ServiceNow, CMDB, asset-management, inventory, or ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, switching, device-management interfaces, and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to read rack elevations, cable maps, device lists, technical instructions, and deployment documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate asset and configuration data.
• Ability to follow procedures, manage assigned work independently, and elevate issues appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in an active lab or data center environment.

Mandatory Skills: Datacenter - Wintel Stack.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $25,000 to $50,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
