Job summary

Salute Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to perform structured cabling installations and server rack deployments in a data center setting. The role emphasizes hands-on work with a focus on rack movements at a Boydton, VA site, under supervision from on-site leadership.

Technical training is provided; prior experience is not required. The team handles a range of projects, including unloading, staging, and securing racks, with opportunities to learn cabling and related tasks as

Qualifications

• Ability to safely use power tools.
• Ability to read and understand cabling maps.
• Can work at different heights, in confined spaces, and on various surfaces.
• Comfort with mobile application technology for job tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; experience with reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure structured cabling per project specs.
• Assist with server rack deployments and related hardware setup.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
