Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Center Technician in Amarillo, Texas, to lead MAC operations, perform racking and cabling, and troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades and ensure flawless service delivery.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in IT or Computing, plus 3+ years in data center networking with Nexus and MDS experience. Cisco CCNP (DC) and ONTAP expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Professional level certification in different Data Centre technologies such as Cisco, NetApp, EMC- Ex: CCNP (DC), ONTAP etc.
• 3+ years of experience in building, deploying and supporting data center networking infrastructure.
• Intermediate knowledge of data center network equipment like Nexus and MDS series switching and integration into server and storage technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead MAC operations and ensure cabling and racking standards compliance.
• Run copper and fiber cabling, labeling and documenting connections.
• Independently perform racking, stacking and structured cabling for new deployments.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues, including fiber diagnostics.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support infrastructure upgrades.
