Job summary

NTI-A Network Connex Company is seeking a Network Technician-Data Center to support installation of infrastructure including racks, grounding, fiber guide, and structured cabling across work sites. The role requires reading diagrams, maintaining field notes, and handling field-based tasks with overtime and travel as needed.

The position emphasizes safety, adherence to specifications, and coordination with project managers and technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in electronics, telecommunications, construction, or project management.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform fieldwork in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform data center cage and overhead ladder rack work per industry standards.
• Read and follow design engineers’ instructions and specifications, maintain scope of work and safety procedures.
• Prepare field notes, interpret drawings, and recommend changes as needed.
• Understand and meet customer timelines and budgets; ensure profitability.
• Source qualified Project Managers and Technicians when needed.
• Act as liaison to promote a positive culture and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate activities across teams to ensure smooth project execution.
