Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. - A19 in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking Data Center Technicians to help maintain availability and reliability of AWS infrastructure.

You may travel regionally and work day or evening shifts; you’ll perform hardware and network diagnostics, and participate in on-call rotations. Based in the Fredericksburg area, initial travel to Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas may be required as sites ramp up.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed
• Some regional travel may be required
