Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Data Center Technicians to join an on-site launch team in Fredericksburg, VA. You will be responsible for hardware diagnostics, network troubleshooting, and physical repairs while supporting a 24/7 operation.

Occasional travel to Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas may be required as the site ramps up. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, work day or evening shifts, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure site reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move equipment as needed.
• Work in a 24/7 environment with on-call rotation.
• Travel regionally to Stafford, Louisa, and Manassas as needed.
