The candidate should have 3+ years in data centers, Linux and scripting knowledge (Python, Bash), and the ability to lift 50 lbs. On-call rotation and after-hours support are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 3+ years of data center experience.
• Experience with computer hardware and networking.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware/software failures.
• Prepare and update technical documentation.
• Provide support to data center teams.
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Maintain inventory and assemble/install equipment.
