Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Data Center Technician to support rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment installation and testing. The role emphasizes hands-on, physically active work with strict safety and quality standards.

Travel may be up to 100%. You will deploy servers, cabling, PDUs, and perform provisioning, testing, and MACD tasks while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with site teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data center operations experience or equivalent.
• Understanding of cabling practices and installation standards.
• Ability to read engineering docs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment and related infrastructure.
• Install, route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs, connect equipment to power sources and verify connectivity.
• Provision hardware, install components and perform OOB management connections.
• Perform basic testing and validation including continuity and fiber checks.
• Execute MACD and FRU replacements per approved procedures.
• Maintain accurate installation records, test results and as-built documentation.
• Identify and escalate design, safety, and operational concerns.
