Job summary

Experis is seeking a Data Center Technician for a Fortune 500 client in Quincy, WA. This 18-month contract role supports data center operations and hardware management within the I&A Logistics Support team.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in IT, 1-2 years of experience, and strong communication, problem solving and time-management skills. Pay is $25/hour.

Our Fortune 500 client, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the I&A Logistics Support team supporting data center operations and hardware management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician
Location: Quincy, WA
Duration: 18 month contract

Pay Range: $25/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data management
• Coordinate and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
• Monitor data center systems for equipment failure or errors and respond appropriately
• Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities
• Support destruction of data bearing devices following all documented procedures and runbooks

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required
• 1-2 years experience required
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively
• Experience working in a data center environment or with IT hardware preferred
