Job summary

STACK Infrastructure APAC is seeking a Technical Trainer to develop and deliver instructor-led and hands-on training for Critical Operators at a large data center campus. You will simplify complex topics, run in-person and virtual sessions, and collaborate with an instructional designer to align curricula with operational needs.

Responsibilities include lab development, content updates, training assessments, and mentoring new technicians to achieve safe, reliable, and ready operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical education, or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• 5+ years of experience delivering technical training or managing structured learning programs in mission-critical or industrial environments.
• Experience in Critical Operations, Commissioning, Controls, Data Centers, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution, HVAC).
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for classroom and virtual delivery; safety and reliability mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive technical training for Critical Operators in person and virtually.
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations and simulations of electrical, mechanical, controls, monitoring, and safety systems.
• Contribute to shaping training labs, equipment, and learning environments.
• Assess and document learner competencies and training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to build ILT and eLearning content.
• Update course materials as procedures evolve or incidents require changes.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and LMS data.
• Mentor new technicians transitioning to operations.
