Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Technical Operations Trainer to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs covering operations, maintenance, and administration across regional data centers. The role ensures Facilities Operations teams are proficient and compliant to guarantee smooth, efficient data center performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in operations and maintenance in a critical environment (data center, nuclear, power generation, etc.).
• Minimum of 3 years of documented instructional experience.
• Certifications in training, facility management, or related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver effective training materials related to data center operations, maintenance, safety procedures, and related processes.
• Utilize classroom-based and hands-on modalities to train technicians on equipment and procedures.
• Use LMS and Microsoft Teams to deliver technology-based training.
• Collaborate with regional Facilities Operations leadership to create and deliver training plans.
• Evaluate training programs and solicit learner feedback to improve future sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of data center facilities and QTS processes.
