Job summary

Oracle is offering a 12-week Catalyst Velocity program in the United States (New Mexico) to build foundational skills for a career in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure data center operations. Trainees will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and structured training designed to lead to permanent data center technician roles upon program completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Associate degree or 4 years military/service with relevant technical ops.
• 2 years in data center ops, IT infra, networking, telecom or electronics.

Responsibilities

• Data center operations and hardware support: rack-and-stack servers, network devices, and infrastructure; basic break/fix per procedures; hardware lifecycle support.
• Network installation and cabling: install and label copper/fiber cabling; verify cable integrity; learn networking standards.
• Ticket management and operational support: complete work in ticketing systems; document activities; follow SLAs and procedures.
• Inventory and logistics: receive, stage, track, audit, and ship equipment; maintain inventory records.
• Safety and compliance: follow SOPs/MOPs and security/change processes; maintain a safe work environment; use PPE.
