Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Data Center Technician for the Catalyst Velocity Track. You will support hardware installations, break/fix, cabling, and inventory in a Wisconsin data center with limited supervision.

Use ServiceNow/JIRA for tickets, follow SOPs, and collaborate with engineers and vendors to resolve issues, document actions, and drive continuous improvement during the program.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or military service with a technical background is required.
• Alternative candidates with 2 years of data center/IT infrastructure experience may qualify.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack-and-stack activities for servers and network gear.
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and decommission server and network hardware.
• Manage break/fix activities across server, storage, and networking platforms.
• Maintain inventory, track assets, and support logistics workflows.
• Follow SOPs/MOPs, ensure safety, and support compliance requirements.
