Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA seeks a Data Center Associate - Kitting E-Shift (TH-SU 6:00 PM - 4:30 AM) to assemble and install servers and electronic components in the data center using a variety of hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, daily inventory counts, and placing server racks with laser accuracy; 1–3 years of related experience required and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Responsible for providing and maintaining effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management as well as various customer material movement requests.
• Must be capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• 1–3 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking for accurate part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand and power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
