Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is hiring for a Data Center Associate - Kitting A- Shift (Mon-Fri 6 AM-2:30 PM) in Lockbourne, USA. The role focuses on material orders, customer service and inventory management, including server and component assembly using hand and power tools.

You will perform daily cycle counts, pack and ship returns, and install components with precise measurements in a datacenter environment. Strong safety awareness and 1–3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• 1-3 years of related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, ensuring accuracy of part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with high accuracy.
• Install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand and power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards in the work area.
• Push, pull and lift frequently during the shift.
