Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, OH is seeking a Data Center Associate for Dock E-Shift Thu-Sun 6:00 PM–4:30 AM. You will perform material orders, customer service, and inventory management, plus assembly and installation of servers and electronic components using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, daily inventory counts, handling returns, placing server racks, cabling, and operating equipment like straddle stackers and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience.
• Experience with computers.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
• Interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound/outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct part numbers and pristine condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders at the data center.
• Process return shipments of electronic components using warehouse systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams.
• Install rack hardware using various hand, power, and measuring tools.
• Operate straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards in the work area.
