Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Lockbourne) is seeking a Data Center Associate for Kitting-C on MON–TH 8PM-6:30AM. You will assemble and install servers and electronic components, manage inventory, and support material movement at the datacenter.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading freight, quality checks, cycle counts, cabling, rack installation, and operation of warehouse equipment. Strong safety awareness and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for accurate part numbers and condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders at the datacenter.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices.
• Populate components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams.
• Install rack hardware using hand and power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards.
• Cross-train in multiple datacenter departments.
