Job summary

DSV is seeking a Data Center Associate - Kitting E-Shift to support server assembly and cabinet installations at the Lockbourne datacenter. You will load/unload freight, perform quality checks, and execute daily inventory cycles with precision.

You will work with hand, power and measuring tools to install racks and cabling, follow diagrams, and maintain safety standards. 1-3 years of related experience and computer familiarity are required; background checks and drug tests may apply.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
• 1-3 years of related experience is required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of safety and static discharge hazards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking for accurate part numbers and quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100% accuracy.
• Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers and electric pallet jacks.
• Adhere to safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
