Job summary

You will oversee material orders, inventory, and server installation; ensure accurate shipping docs; and coach a team in a fast-paced datacenter environment. The role requires 3-5 years experience, strong customer service, critical thinking, and safety awareness around live electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain effective material orders, customer service, and inventory management as well as various customer material movement requests.
• Assemble and install servers and various electronic components using hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.
• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers including the management of shipping documents and records.
• Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, checking part numbers and quantities and ensuring pristine condition.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts on site at the datacenter.
• Process return shipments of various electronic components utilizing multiple warehouse management systems.
• Oversee placement of server racks on the datacenter floor with laser measuring devices.
• Oversee population of electronic components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams and schematics.
• Install rack hardware using hand, power and measuring tools.
• Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers and electric pallet jacks.
• Perform cleanup to maintain safety and 5S standards.
• Push, pull and lift frequently as part of daily tasks.
