Job summary

QTS is seeking a Development Project Manager - Q-Systems to lead design, pre-construction and construction on multiple data-center campuses in Virginia. You will coordinate with contractors, design consultants and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to standards.

The role requires 8+ years in building controls or related fields, strong communication, and ability to manage several projects concurrently. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in building controls, security, and/or low voltage design and construction.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (roughly every other week).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple campus projects, managing budgets, schedules and status reports.
• Ensure designs meet QTS standards and Basis of Design documents.
• Oversee commissioning to verify systems operate per design.
• Develop multi-phased site plans to hit time, budget and quality goals.
• Liaise with stakeholders and represent QTS in meetings.
