Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, seeks a Data Center Technician to join our San Jose data centers. You will rack, label, cable, and configure server, storage, and network infrastructure, ensuring accurate DCIM documentation and consistent cabling practices across sites.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues in cutting-edge systems and work with supply chain, manufacturing, and HW support to keep deployments on schedule.

Qualifications

• Familiar with critical infrastructure systems in data centers including power, cooling, DCIM, cabling, and layout.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Action-oriented and eager to learn new systems and processes.
• Willing to travel for bring-up of new data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in advanced systems.
• Document data center layout and network topology in DCIM.
• Collaborate with supply chain & manufacturing for timely deployments.
• Manage a parts depot inventory and track equipment through deployment stages.
• Coordinate with HW Support to resolve data center infra tickets.
• Coordinate with RMA to return faulty parts and order replacements.
• Follow installation standards to ensure consistency across data centers.
