Job summary

Lambda, The Superintelligence Cloud, is seeking a QA/Operations-focused professional for the San Jose data center. The role emphasizes monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving hardware-infrastructure quality across deployment and production environments.

You will analyze system metrics, perform root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions while collaborating with operations, hardware, engineering, and supply chain teams. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware, data center, or infrastructure systems.
• Strong data analysis, statistics, and metrics skills.
• Proficient in root cause analysis methods (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D, A3).
• Ability to manage cross-team communication and stakeholder expectations.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, and quality-minded.
• Familiarity with quality tools or QMS software.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Track, log, and manage quality issues in deployment and production.
• Perform root cause analysis for hardware, software, or process failures.
• Analyze production metrics to detect trends and weak points.
• Improve turnaround time for Return Merchandise Authorization processes.
• Design, monitor, and drive CAPA actions.
• Verify containment actions to keep systems operational.
• Collaborate with operations, hardware, engineering, supply chain, and vendors.
• Upload FA reports and data into QMS.
• Verify quality of spares to prevent repeat failures.
• Define and track quality KPIs / SLAs and report to leadership.
• Oversee MRB inventory, rework, and disposal decisions.
• Ensure QMS is up to date with training rollout.
• Work cross-functionally during hardware ramp, deployments, and upgrades.
• Travel up to 30% may be required.
