Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience supporting structural steel projects in industrial or data center environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of steel detailing, fabrication, erection, and associated building systems.
• Experience with document control, quantity takeoffs, submittals, RFIs, and change management.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools, BIM processes, and construction management software.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and technical writing abilities.
• Eagerness to grow into broader disciplinary responsibilities.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a robust document control process to ensure the latest revisions of drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals are used for design, fabrication, and field execution.
• Perform accurate cost estimating and quantity takeoffs for structural steel components, materials, and labor, supporting both bid and change-order activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Managers and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues during design development, fabrication, erection, and commissioning phases.
• Support project scheduling by analyzing critical path timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements to keep hyperscale programs on aggressive delivery schedules.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation that meet stringent data center quality and compliance standards.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements by researching and implementing new tools, methods, and technologies in steel engineering and construction.
• Travel up to 25% of the time
