Job summary

ENERCON is seeking Structural Engineers for our Data Center Mission Critical Group to design and document structures compliant with industry standards. This role involves seismic/structural analyses, leading projects, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities for travel and leadership growth.

The position supports client needs, maintains relationships, and contributes to project success across multiple U.S. locations, including Dallas, TX, and remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• Typically requires 3 years of experience in a design engineering role preferably in design of structures in commercial and critical infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired.
• PE or SE desired or plan to obtain within the next 2 years.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including, but not limited to, Word and Excel.
• Minimum basic level of proficiency in CAD software.
• ETABS software experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to be a lead responsible engineer for a project involving multi-discipline work.
• Must be able to climb ladders and/or stairs at client sites.
• Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.
