Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. seeks Structural Engineers to join the Data Center Mission Critical Group in Houston, TX, with flexibility for other listed locations. You will perform seismic and structural analyses, develop designs, and lead projects for data centers and new building systems.

Travel is expected, and client collaboration is essential for project success. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited), 3 years in design engineering, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• Typically 3 years in a design engineering role for structures in commercial/critical infrastructure.
• PE or SE license desired or planned within 2 years.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Basic CAD proficiency required.
• ETABS experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline projects and travel 15–25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead seismic and structural design and analysis for data centers and building systems.
• Develop detailed designs, calculations, and documentation.
• Provide project leadership and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Conduct site inspections and support construction implementation.
• Create client presentations and maintain client relationships.
• Drive innovative solutions across disciplines to ensure project success.
