Job summary

Vantage Data Centers LLC in Santa Clara, CA seeks an Assistant Project Manager for Special Projects. The role supports the Special Projects team from design through close-out on data center construction, working in a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible).

The candidate will assist with RFPs, budgets, design coordination, vendor management, and commissioning activities, with 5+ years of PM experience and CSA/MEP exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a similar field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer in Construction PM assisting or supervising projects of increasing complexity.
• CSA/MEP construction management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Projects team and project managers to drive success on construction projects.
• Coordinate design phases, submittals, RFIs, and drawings.
• Lead or support coordinating with designers, vendors and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage project close-out activities, punch lists, warranties, and as-builts.
• Prepare monthly financial updates and forecasts with PMs.
