Job summary

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in San Antonio to drive core project coordination for data center construction. You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, design coordination and commissioning with Operations staff, while ensuring safety and schedule compliance.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CM/Engineering, 3+ years in construction project engineering, and preference for data center experience, CSA/MEP expertise, and strong vendor coordination skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in construction projects of increasing complexity.
• Data Center experience is preferred.
• Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP construction management is a strong preference.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittal and RFI processing and safety reporting throughout the construction process.
• Coordinate internal alignment on reviews, cost optimizations and design changes.
• Oversee equipment release, startup, commissioning and turnover documentation.
• Administer project closeout specifications and turnover files.
• Support monthly financial updates, forecasts and contractor billing coordination.
• Assist with permits, vendor management and site safety reporting.
