Job summary

Cisco is seeking a CX Professional Services data center engineer to lead delivery efforts, build solutions, and mentor others. You will install, configure, and optimize Cisco data center networking products, and help customers achieve self-sufficiency.

This role requires hands-on experience with Nexus, NXOS, VXLAN or ACI, and scripting in Python or Ansible. Travel up to 20% and collaboration with project managers and customers are part of the job.

Qualifications

• BS/CS or degree equivalent with 3+ years in data center compute and networking.
• Experience with routing and switching on Cisco Nexus platforms and NXOS.
• Experience with VXLAN or Cisco ACI.
• Scripting experience (Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Ability to use AI to assist day-to-day tasks and scripting.
• Strong written and verbal communication; self-motivated with execution focus.
• Consulting experience is a plus; CCNP or equivalent certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, configure, customize, optimize and automate Cisco data center networking solutions.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and migration activities.
• Write design documents and migration plans.
• Present solutions to customers remotely and in person.
• Explain technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interact with customers and provide consultative support.
• Coordinate with project managers across multiple projects.
