Job summary

MetroSys, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cisco Data Center Consultant to support pre-sales and assessment activities for enterprise clients.

You will serve as a technical resource during customer discovery, infrastructure assessments, and solution development engagements. You will combine hands-on Cisco data center expertise with the ability to engage clients, assess current environments, identify risks, and help develop modernization roadmaps and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of enterprise data center engineering or consulting.
• Hands-on Cisco data center experience across UCS, Nexus, ACI and data center networking.
• Experience delivering infrastructure assessments and technical discovery workshops.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery sessions and infrastructure assessments for enterprise data center environments.
• Evaluate current-state compute, network, virtualization, and storage architectures.
• Perform Cisco-focused assessments across UCS, Nexus, ACI, MDS, and Intersight.
• Identify risks, lifecycle concerns, performance bottlenecks, and modernization opportunities.
• Develop assessment findings, recommendations, and executive reports.
• Support solution architects and sales teams during customer engagements.
• Participate in customer workshops, design reviews, and strategy sessions.
• Assist with scoping projects, SOWs, and estimating implementation efforts.
• Provide guidance on data center modernization, compute refresh, virtualization, hybrid cloud connectivity, and storage integration.
• Deliver architecture recommendations and migration strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Serve as SME during technical presentations and customer discussions.

MetroSys is seeking an experienced Cisco Data Center Consultant to support pre-sales and assessment activities for enterprise clients. This role will serve as a trusted technical resource during customer discovery, infrastructure assessments, and solution development engagements.

The ideal candidate combines strong hands‑on Cisco data center expertise with the ability to engage clients, assess current‑state environments, identify risks and opportunities, and help develop modernization roadmaps and solution recommendations.

This is an ad hoc consulting role intended to support pre‑sales opportunities, infrastructure assessments, workshops, and customer‑facing technical engagements. Travel may be required based on client needs.
