Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Customer Experience (CX) Professional Services data center engineer to lead service delivery, build solutions, and mentor other engineers. You will install, configure, and optimize Cisco data center networking products and support customer self-sufficiency.

You will plan migrations, write migration plans, and present solutions to customers both remotely and on-site, while collaborating with project managers and teams across projects.

Qualifications

• BS, CS, or University degree equivalent with 3+ years of data center compute and networking experience.
• Experience with routing and switching on Cisco Nexus platforms and NX-OS operating systems.
• Experience with VXLAN or Cisco ACI.
• Scripting experience (Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience using AI to assist day-to-day activities and scripting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with execution focus.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
• Professional level (e.g., CCNP) or equivalent certification expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, configure, customize, optimize and automate Cisco data center networking solutions.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations.
• Write design documents and migration plans.
• Present solutions to customers remotely and in person.
• Explain technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interact with customers and provide consultative support.
• Collaborate with project managers and work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Travel up to 20% per year (travel may vary by project).
