Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Director, Solutions Data Centers to lead integrated facilities management design for hyperscale, colocation, and AI/HPC data centers. You will convert complex requirements into operating models, staffing plans, and commercial constructs while leading engineering teams.

You will collaborate across Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, Legal, and Tech to deliver an integrated solution and defend positions in client sessions. Travel domestically is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities/Construction Management, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for data center IFM pursuits across portfolios.
• Translate requirements into a defensible operating model and staffing plan.
• Build labor model, org chart, span of control, and scope matrix.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, Talent Acquisition, Procurement, Finance, EHS, Sustainability, Legal and Tech.
• Author and orchestrate the technical response: narrative, staffing, mobilization, and tech stack.
• Lead workshops, site walks, and client presentations to defend approach.
• Conduct win/loss reviews and update assets, templates, pricing.
• Maintain library of data center solution components and benchmarks.
• Design operating model for on-site teams, 24x7 coverage, remote ops, and vendor augmentation.
• Define maintenance programs across electrical, mechanical, cooling, BMS/EPMS, fire safety.
• Set engineering tech approach: CMMS config, asset tagging, remote monitoring, analytics.
• Quantify headcount, overtime, tools, PPE, spares, and subcontracted services.
• Build staffing models by site/portfolio with rotations, vacations, and coverage.
• Define licensure matrices by jurisdiction and client requirements.
• Work with TA on ramp and hiring sequencing.
• Benchmark engineering ratios and justify deviations.
