Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field and 10+ years in facilities/critical facilities.
• 5+ years in FM solutions development, bid management, or senior operations with staffing cost ownership.
• Fluency in FM commercial models, SLA/KPI regimes, and pricing mechanics; advanced Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically (25–30%).
• Experience with data center infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, BMS/EPMS) and staffing expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for IFM pursuits across single-site to global portfolios.
• Translate client requirements into defensible operating models and staffing plans.
• Build labor models, org charts, span of control, and pricing assumptions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, HR, Procurement, Finance, and Legal as a single solution.
• Author technical responses: solution narrative, staffing plan, and transition plan.
• Lead workshops, site walks, due-diligence visits, and client presentations.
• Conduct win/loss reviews and update assets, templates, and pricing libraries.
• Maintain library of data center solution components and staffing ratios.
• Design on-site engineering operating model with 24x7x365 coverage and remote integration.
• Define maintenance programs for MV/LV, UPS, generators, chillers, and cooling systems.
• Set engineering tech approach: CMMS configuration, BMS/EPMS integration, remote analytics.
• Quantify headcount, overtime, tools, PPE, training, and critical-spares strategy.
• Develop site-by-site engineering staffing models and shift rotations.
• Define licensure matrices by jurisdiction and recruit ramp plans with Talent Acquisition.
• Benchmark engineering ratios against internal/industry data and justify deviations.
