Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Site Strategy Manager, Data Center Sites for remote work in the United States. You will lead strategic site selection and development for data center growth, partnering with engineers, planners, consultants, clients, communities, and regulators.

The role focuses on making well-informed, risk-aware site decisions to support long-term operations and project success. Remote-US based candidates only; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience with colocation and hyperscale data center projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer, Architect, or Land Planner preferred.
• Advanced degree in relevant fields is a plus.
• 12 or more years of project management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in data center operations and site development processes.
• Experience with feasibility studies and site evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, planners, and consultants.
• Build relationships with clients, communities, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and evaluate land opportunities for data center growth.
• Oversee project results, including goal setting and budget adherence.
• Drive the due diligence and permitting processes.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability and innovation.
