Northern Trust is seeking a Data Center Site Operations Manager to lead U.S. data center management, ensuring reliability and disciplined operational practices across mission-critical infrastructure.

You will oversee lifecycle programs, vendor relationships, change governance, and documentation, coordinating with infrastructure, facilities, security, and business partners in a fast-changing data center footprint.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data center operations or mission-critical tech environments.
• Experience in regulated or high-control environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex physical infrastructure work and migrations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with facilities, security, governance and vendors.
• Excellent communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational readiness across enterprise data center locations.
• Oversee physical adds, moves, changes, decommissions, cabling, and power coordination.
• Manage lifecycle programs for compute, storage, network, private cloud, and mainframe environments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy using DCIM and asset management.
• Govern vendor and contractor work to site protocols and safety.
• Provide escalation point and develop scalable operating models.
• Prepare operational updates and KPI reporting.
