Northern Trust is seeking a Data Center Site Operations Manager to lead U.S. Data Center Management operations supporting mission-critical infrastructure across the firm’s enterprise data center environment.

This role focuses on operational reliability, lifecycle management, staffing, change governance, audit readiness, vendor oversight, and continuous improvement across assigned data center locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data center engineering or mission-critical operations.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Operations and Lifecycle Management – Lead day-to-day readiness across enterprise data center locations and oversee cabling, power coordination, and hardware lifecycle work.
• Team Leadership – Manage site-based staff, contractors, and vendors; mentor and develop team members.
• Change Governance and Documentation – Oversee change plans, procedures, and documentation; ensure readiness and risk mitigation.
• Audit, Compliance, and Documentation – Maintain audit-ready processes and documentation across data center operations.
• Financial, Vendor, and Administrative Oversight – Coordinate budgets, vendor engagement, and resource planning.
