Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. seeks a seasoned Data Center Manager to lead onsite DCT personnel across one or more sites, overseeing monitoring, preventive maintenance, safety, and customer relations. You will coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to keep critical infrastructure running efficiently.

The on-site role requires managing a 24x7 coverage rotation, scheduling, training, and ensuring security policies are followed, with typical hours 8am-4pm, flexible for project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years data center experience.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• LEED certification is a bonus but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong people management and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to train DCTs and document procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day duties of onsite DCT personnel.
• Monitor infrastructure on site and escalate issues.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to schedule preventative maintenance.
• Ensure site is kept clean and safe at all times.
• Oversee contractors and verify workmanship and safety.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers at facilities.
• Plan equipment needs to improve production efficiency.
• Manage weekly schedules for 24x7 coverage and on-call lists.
• Ensure Video Surveillance system is operational.
• Enforce Security policies and report non-compliance.
