Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Site Engineer II in Atlanta to join our Data Center Operations team. You will contribute to daily site operations, maintain mission-critical systems including generators, UPS, HVAC, and fire/life safety, and support change management and incident reporting.

You should bring 3+ years in mission-critical facilities, electrical or mechanical specialization, and strong CMMS/DCIM knowledge to help ensure top uptime and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mission critical facilities
• Electrical or mechanical expertise with cross-competence
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems and architectures
• Strong knowledge of cooling systems and architectures
• Understanding of redundancy configurations (N+1, 2N, ATS/STS)
• Experience with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Understand facility layout and operation of MEP systems with accurate one-line diagrams
• Know equipment nomenclature and locations
• Review SOPs, SOOs, and EOPs
• Understand customer SLAs and lease obligations for data center ops
• Manage CMMS work orders and change management processes
• Conduct site rounds, detect anomalies, and report incidents
• Support accreditation efforts (SSA16, SOC2, ISO 27001)
• Complete DLR Critical Awareness Training
