Job summary

STV Construction Incorporated seeks a Construction Manager – Shell & Core to lead field activities for a large-scale data center project on site in Amarillo, Texas. You will oversee civil, structural, architectural, and building envelope work from early site development through dry-in and turnover to downstream trades.

The role requires 7+ years in progressive construction management on complex projects, with preference for data center experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive construction management experience on large-scale projects.
• Experience in data center or mission-critical construction strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, schedules, RFIs, and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field oversight for shell & core scope including sitework, foundations, concrete, structural steel, roofing, exterior envelope, and architectural work.
• Oversee general contractors and trade partners to ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Manage shell construction from development through dry‑in and turnover; monitor performance, productivity, and progress.
• Coordinate with MEP, QA/QC, commissioning, safety, and project controls teams to support delivery schedules.
• Identify risks, resolve field conflicts, and drive contractor performance toward schedule commitments.
• Lead coordination meetings, site walks, and contractor briefings; review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change documentation.
• Ensure proper interfaces between structural, architectural, civil, and MEP scopes, especially at penetrations and enclosure.
