Job summary

Element Critical in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Operations Service Delivery Manager to lead data center service delivery and remote hands fulfillment. You will manage deployments, inventory, and documentation while guiding a team of Operations Technicians.

The role requires 5+ years in data center management, strong leadership, and project management skills. You will partner with Sales and Engineering to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to SOPs and security protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CS/IT or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Data Center Management and Operations experience.
• Proven leadership and decision-making skills.
• Customer deployment installation and project management experience.
• Knowledge of data center electrical power, UPS, building management and security systems.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
• Experience with network testing equipment.
• Experience with network hardware (multiplexers, routers, switches, patch panels, media converters).
• Experience creating purchase requisitions and budget planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service order fulfillment and remote hands requests; QA the results.
• Act as delivery manager and primary contact for technical issue resolution.
• Complete installation of cages, cabinets, ladder rack, fiber tray and containment.
• Update inventory details and NetSuite records for accuracy.
• Review service order items and document exceptions.
• Troubleshoot customer and carrier circuits; install, terminate, test, and label cross connects.
• Manage customer communications for maintenance and urgent events.
• Ensure timely case acknowledgment and response to customers.
• Identify and escalate critical BMS and Network alerts.
• Maintain on-hand deployment inventory and procurement scheduling.
